I Need Legal Advice For A Warrant In California?
I currently have a warrant in California for not appearing to court on a misdemeanor assault & battery case (an argument I had with my mom is all). I was never notified I had a court date, and assumed this was issue had been dismissed through a public defender I was dealing with at the time. I currently reside in Florida, but want to clear this warrant up. If I fly back to clear this issue (1) will I be taken to jail before pleading my case?
