  2. Malon J, It’s unfortunate to hear about your situation. I was injured once when a van backed over my left foot at work. My employer tried to settle with me quickly because I knew they were try to get me to sign some papers to release them from responsibility. I called a nearby lawyer in my city who gave me useful advice and I was able to get a justifiable settlement to cover my medical bills that weren’t covered by my work insurance. I’d suggest you find a personal injury in your city. http://www.accidentlawyerlocator.com My accident lawyer was help me because they expect to make some money from any potential case. Try visiting a personal injury lawyer to see if they can help.
    Heop everything works out.

  4. You can ask the insurance company how much was paid. If you settled out of court then the courthouse will have no record of the amount. The lawyers job is to get as much money with as little work done. When they take it to court it will give them a higher percentage of the settlement. The object is to not go to trial and to settle out before trial. Next time for fender benders go to small claims court then all the money will be yours.

  6. When your lawyer speaks to you are his lips moving? If yes, then he is lying. That is a surefire test for truth from a lawyer.

  12. Why would you be paying someone you don’t trust? Find another lawyer if you don’t trust him…
